Bound in full brown leather, with gilt ornamentation to edges. Paneled spine has faded gilt ornamentation and titling. Boards have a loss of leather to the spine ends, cracking to hinges resulting in a detached front board, bumping to corners, chipping to extremities, and scuff marks and scratches throughout. Textblock has an archival repair to the front hinge, a tear to the fold-out map of Egypt, foxing to some pages throughout, and light age toning and wear. Contains the bookplate of George Baillie (1664-1738) to the front pastedown. Shelved in Room A. More
