Boards show scattered moderate soiling to exterior, and some rubbing to all edges and corners. Spine shows some slight cracking to the leather and rubbing to head and foot. Cracking to joints, splitting to both hinges. Textblock is age toned, with tidemarks throughout. Some cracking to gutters. Light dust soiling along top edge. Gray vertical stain along fore edge, pages 66-103. Rear flyleaf is covered in pencil notes. Rear free end paper has two open tears and an attached newspaper clipping. Previous owner's bookplate on front paste down. Signed by another previous owner across title page in brown ink.
