Text block has has gilt top edge; bookplate and name in ink on front pastedown, pencil scrawl on half-title page and doodle on rear flyleaf, spotting to endpapers, cracked front hinge, missing frontispiece, page vii loose from binding, news clippings laid in with consequent tanning to adjacent pages.
