Boards are heavily scuffed with rubbing along edges. Bumping to fore corners with small areas of exposed board. Chipping at heads and tails of spines, with much heavier chipping to the bottom end of the spine of Vol. I. Text blocks are moderately age toned and worn, with dust soiling to the top edges. Lighter age toning and scattered foxing throughout. Splitting to hinges. Bookplates and paper labels on front endpapers. Soiling to pages 520-524 in Vol. I. Shelved in Room A Octavo Overflow.
