The figure is constructed with a metal sheet wrapped over a carved wooden form, with geometric incised decoration and applied metal elements defining the face, coiffure, and side panels. The stylized ancestral form is typical of Bakota reliquary figures, traditionally associated with the guardianship of ancestral remains. Mounted on a wooden display stand. Dimensions approximately 29.5 x 13 x 3 In very good condition. good condition, with surface wear throughout, oxidation, and patina to the metal sheet, especially around the face, eyes, and edges. Scattered scratches, abrasions, dents, and rubbed areas are present, with wear and abrasions visible at the wooden base. Fine hairline crack at the base where the two feet join.
