CAST IRON LAWN JOCKEY DOOR STOP

20th century. Cast iron lawn jockeys. Figure retains its original dark painted or stained surface with scattered rubbing, abrasions, and finish loss throughout, particularly to the face, shoulders, chest, and extremities. The circular metal ring is present and appears secure. The figure stands firmly on its integral pedestal base. Visible surface wear includes scuffing, minor scratches, areas of paint/stain loss, and accumulated surface grime consistent with age and use. The underside reveals a hollow interior cavity, likely original to construction. Measures 11 in. (height).
