Boards have bumping to edges, minor cracking to the joints, light discoloration and scuffing to surfaces. Textblock has pencil writing to the front end pages, light age toning and foxing to some pages throughout. Gilt to top edges, and beveled fore and bottom edges. Arthur Rackham (1867-1939) was an English book illustrator. He is recognized as one of the leading figures during the Golden Age of British book illustration. His work is noted for its robust pen and ink drawings, which were combined with the use of watercolor.

Wilhelm Richard Wagner (1813-1883) was a German composer, theatre director, essayist, and conductor, best known for his operas, although his mature works are often referred to as music dramas. Unlike most composers, Wagner wrote both the libretti and the music for all of his stage works.
