Volume is in full black cloth binding. Jacket is pictorial, with red and black lettering to spine. Slipcase is in same black cloth, with a white label on the side panel. Slipcase is lightly sunned around the mouth, with some fraying along the edges and at the corners. Faint scuffs to side panels. Jacket shows negligible wear. Boards are very lightly rubbed along the bottom edges. Slight slant to spine. Text block is clean. Signed flat in black ink by Edward Gorey ("Edward Gorey") and both authors ("Karen Wilkin", "Clifford Ross") on the limitation page. This copy is part of a limited edition of 326 total copies, 300 being numbered and signed, with the remaining 26 lettered A-Z and signed. Lettered copies were reserved for Gorey, the authors, and Gotham Book Mart & Gallery. This copy is hand-lettered "Q" just above the signatures. Shelved in Case 3.
