Volume is in full yellow cloth binding with brown titling to spine. Jacket is off-white with black lettering, wrapped in a new archival mylar sleeve. Jacket is moderately age toned and scuffed, with mild rubbing wear along the edges, at the head/tail, and at the fore corners. Faint smudging to jacket covers. Price uncut: "$3.00". Price has been lightly crossed out in pencil, with a new number written underneath. Boards show very light wear, with mild rubbing along board edges and at corners. Spine slightly cocked. Text block is lightly age toned, with faint foxing on the top edge and small smudges/scuffs on the fore and bottom edges. Interior clean. Signed flat in black ink by Gorey on title page: "Edward Gorey". Shelved case 3.
