In full green cloth binding, with gilt decorative borders to boards and gilt decoration to spine; front cover with gilt facsimile of Beethoven's handwriting; spine with gilt titling. Moderate wear to boards, with faint scuffs and scrapes to covers, mild rubbing along edges and at fore corners, and fraying at the head and tail of spine. Text block shows moderate toning and faint scuffs on edges. Lighter age toning throughout. Faint smudges on front free endpapers. Interior otherwise clean. Shelved in Room F Elephant.
