Small quarto, vi, [1], 8-504 pages, plus an illustrated frontispiece of Alexander Hamilton and two illustrated plates of James Madison and John Jay. In Good minus condition. Bound in full leather. Spine has faded gilt titling. Boards have significant cracking to spine, a loss of leather to spine ends, the front board is detached, cracking to the rear joint, chipping to extremities, bumping to corners, a loss of leather to the bottom corner of the front board, and significant rubbing wear throughout. Textblock has ink writing to the recto of the frontispiece, a detached front free end page with chipping to edges, splitting to the gutter from pages 289-293, foxing to pages throughout, age toning, and light wear to edges.
