NOTES
Original etching was gifted to the Lucas Family for Christmas in 1967, featuring a kneeling angel set in a Dalian landscape with two other figures. The inscription in the plate written by Dali reads: “Merry X-Mas and for Good Luck to the Luca's 1967.” Sidney and Phyllis Lucas, the directors of Phyllis Lucas Gallery were the first North American publishers of original Dali graphics.
