Baltimore: C. Scheld & Co., 1834. First Edition. Octavo, xii, 334, [2]; x, 381 pages, plus one fold-out plate. In Good plus condition. Quarter-bound in leather with brown paper boards. Spine has a leather label with faded gilt titling. Boards have cracking to joints, tape along the tail end of spine, a loss of paper to the bottom corner of the front board, a stain to the bottom corner of the rear board, chipping to edges, and bumping to corners. Textblock has ink writing to the end papers, an archival repair to the fold-out plate [impacting some text], institutional stamps to some pages throughout, paper residue to the rear board, foxing and age toning throughout.
