Rebound in bright red half binding with pink cloth boards; spine paneled with gilt fillets and a dark brown leather label with gilt titling; gilt top edge. In Good condition. Boards show moderate scuffing and wear, with rubbing along edges and at corners. Stain to cloth on front board, with sunning along the top and fore edges. Joints are cracked, with splitting near the top ends. Shallow loss of material to head of spine. Text bock edges are moderately worn and toned; some scattered stains on gilt top edge. Interior largely clean, with some light age toning throughout, and discoloration on endpapers and half title page due to contact with leather elements. Leather bookplate from former owner on front pastedown. Shelved in Room F.
