In full brown leather binding; spine is paneled with gilt titling on a black morocco label, heavily sunned to darker brown with cracking to leather. Smaller paper label with ink numbering at base of spine. Chipping at head of spine, with head band coming loose. Boards show moderate wear and scuffing, with rubbing along joints and edges, exposed board at fore corners, and scattered stains to covers. Text block is age toned and worn along edges, with dust soiling and a small ink stain to the top edge. Lightly age toned and sparsely foxed throughout, with scattered, faint pencil marginalia in the early sections of the book. Faint penciling and contemporary ownership inscription on front endpaper. Shelved in Room A.
