New York: Herbert Reichner, 1950. Limited First Edition: #1327/2100. Quarto, xxii, 538 pages, plus several plates. In Very Good condition with a Fair dust jacket. Jacket is brown, age toned paper with red and black lettering, wrapped in a new archival mylar sleeve. Volume is in full red cloth binding, with gilt titling on front cover and on spine. Jacket is heavily age toned and moderately soiled, with significant chipping along all edges and spine. Split completely along joints and across the center of the spine, separating jacket into four pieces. Boards show light shelf wear. Heavier scuffing along spine. Text block shows mild toing and wear along edges. Interior clean. Inscribed by both authors on front flyleaf: "To Dr. S. Donald Malton / with much appreciation of his assistance and many kindnesses / Jerome P. Webster / Christmas 1957" and "With cordial good wishes / Martha Teach Gnudi". Shelved in Room A.
