Text block is age toned and moderately worn along the edges. Age toned and foxed throughout. Heavy splitting at the hinges. Lacking rear flyleaf. Faint pencil gift inscription in the top margin of the half title page. Large closed tear in gutter of front flyleaf. All first edition points present: 'End of Contents' on page 14 and illustrations on pages 21, 35 and 63. Shelved in Room A.
