Octavo, 508, [2], pages. In Very Good condition with a Very Good dust jacket. In red cloth binding with black decoration and gilt lettering to spine. Jacket is dark red with white lettering, wrapped in an archival mylar sleeve. Jacket shows mild shelf wear with some visible scuffing and mild rubbing along the edges. Price unclipped: "$6.95". Boards show similar mild shelf wear, with a light bump along the top edge of the front board. Gilt lettering to spine is moderately tarnished. Text block is lightly age toned throughout, with some faint scuffing visible on the top and bottom edges. Dated "12/21/65" and inscribed in blue ink by Gerald R. Ford on the front flyleaf: "To Dick Schweiker in appreciation of your fine friendship and to express my gratitude for your cooperation and assistance in the rugged days of 1965. / I am indebted to you for your many kindnesses and I look forward to working with you for the success of the Republican cause in the months ahead. / Betty joins me in wishing you and your family the very best. / Gerald R.
