In an eight-hole string binding with green silk boards and maroon silk cords; title in black on a white silk label on the front board with gilt border; gilt-specked decorative endpapers. Boards are lightly soiled, with small stains, and sunned along the edges. Significant fraying with some loss of material to silk at the top corner of the spine. Chipping to gilt border around the label on the front board. Text block is lightly age toned, with moderate shelf wear and scuffing visible on edges. Lightly foxed throughout. Shelved in Room A.
