Heavy wear to dust jacket, including chipping with material loss to corners; front cover detached from spine; gilt lettering to spine faded yet legible; protected by a mylar covering. Quarter bound in black cloth, gilt lettering to spine, blue paper boards; deckled text block, untrimmed fore-edge. Mild shelf wear to boards, including bumping with slight material loss to head, tail, and corners; slight cocking to spine (boards shaken, no shelf lean, binding intact), binding visible at gutter between rear free endpaper and rear paste-down; age-toning to text block and less so to interior pages, illustrations and text remain clear and legible.
