JOHN ELPHINSTONE, 11th LORD ELPHINSTONE | AUTOGRAPH LETTER SIGNED, BATH, 1791

Bath: 1791. ALS (w. 8 in. x h. 9.25 in.), 2 pages. In Very Good condition overall with mild age toning, mild creasing and wear to edges, small stain along right edge, and a 2 in. x 5. in. portion excised from lower left corner. Dated February 2, 1791. The present letter references a lawsuit involving Mr. Corbet of Shumore and his tenant Colquhoun, which was referred to James Carse for arbitration. Signed simply "Elphinstone" - likely John Elphinstone, 11th Lord Elphinstone (1757-1794).
