New Yorkk: The Viking Press, 1941. First U.S. Edition. Octavo, two volumes. In Good plus condition with Good condition dust jackets. Pictorial spines with age toned brown lettering. Housed in a Good condition black and pictorial slipcase, has chipping to edges, soiling to top edge, and moderate rubbing wear to label. Both dust jackets are wrapped in mylar covers, prices are uncut "$7.50", have age toning, tears to extremities, light discoloration from rubbing wear, and light stains. Loss of paper to spine head edge of volume 1. Boards have mild rubbing wear, and light bumping to corners. Textblocks have map end papers, blue ink staining to top edges, foxing to edges, and light age toning. Volume 1 has light scuff marks to the front free end page, and mild adhesive discoloration to hinges. NOTE: Shelved in Locked Annex Area, Multi-Volume Area (ND-MV)
