New York: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1892. Quadri-Centennial Edition. Quarto, three volumes. In Very Good minus condition. Bound in full vellum. Spines have gilt lettering and ornamentation. Front Boards have gilt ornamentation and armorial stamps. Boards are slightly cocked, has discoloration and mild soiling, and minor bumping to fore corners. Volume 1 has light plus foxing to the front board, and front board is slightly warped. Textblocks have light age toning, minor soiling on some pages throughout, and slight offsetting to protective sheets of some plates throughout, and gilt head edges. All textblocks contain light blue silk ribbons. Volume 2 has slight splitting to gutter between the front free end pages. Volume 3 has minor splitting to gutter between the frontispiece and title page, pages 237-240 are uncut. Shelved in Room A.
