Ex-libris bookplate of the previous owner adhered to the front pastedown. Slight wear interiorly including light offsetting/soiling to the end papers, small open chip to the head edge to page vii and slight age toning to the text pages. Profusely illustrated. Revised edition based on the first edition, published 1878.
