NOTES
It appears that this copy of Bob Hope's I OWE RUSSIA $1200 was a draft of an inscribed copy for the 20th century TV journalist, Deena Clark. In Hope's hand, he's crossed out his original spelling of her name "Duiale" and written Deena above it. On the front pastedown, he's drawn an arrow to the misspelling and written "only mistake", editing his own message.
