Spines are brown with gold print on red banner. Boards half bound with brown leather to spine and corners and marbled paper to boards; wear to spine caps and corners, tears to hinges and edges toning to spine, peripheral toning, rubbing to paper. Text blocks have bookplate with notes in pencil and ink on front endpapers of first volume, marginal notation in ink and pencil, tanning to some pages, cracked hinges.
