Boards are slightly cocked, has rubbing wear and age toning along the head and tail edges, mild bending wear along the spine head/tail. Textblock has small stains on pages 286-287, pencil marks on pages 28, 291, 295, and 298, light adhesive stains along the pastedown pages and end-pages, and light plus foxing along the edges. signed flat by John Updike on the title page.
