Cambridge, MA: Robert Bentley, 1979. Reprint. Octavo, 320 pages. In Very Good minus condition with a Good plus condition dust jacket. Aged white spine with black and faded red lettering. Dust jacket is wrapped in a mylar covering, has mild shelving wear, small open tears along the rear head edge and tail fore corner, a small closed tear along the front head edge, and moderate age-toning throughout. Boards have mild wear along the head and tail edges, light fraying along the corners, and mild bending wear along the fore corners. Textblock has a dent on the fore edges of pages 175-320, mild wear along the edges, stains along the tai ledges, and light foxing along the edges. Inscription on the front end-page reading "For George C. Higgins, With great admiration through the years. Sincerely," Budd Schulberg, dated "Sept. 17, 1984". DL consignment. Shelved Room C.
