Chicago: The Reilly and Lee Company, 1925. Large Octavo, 280 pages. In Good condition. Bound in the publisher's blue cloth bearing dark blue lettering to the pictorial spine. Boards have moderate plus wear including sunning to the spine/edges, small open chip to the spine and several instances of scuffs/soiling marks. Slight cocking to the spine. Text block has moderate wear including age toning to the edges. Tiny chip to the front hinge. Cracking to the rear hinge. Slight offsetting to the pictorial end papers. Mild wear interiorly with slight wear to few gutters and light foxing. Frontispiece. Illustrated. Color plates but "K" in "back" page 193, line 4 is undamaged. 1927-28, later printing. Previous bookshop's minor stamped text to the rear end paper. Founded on and continuing the famous Oz stories by L. Frank Baum.
