Tan spine with blue/green and orange lettering. Dust jacket is wrapped in a mylar covering, price uncut "$5.95", has closed tears on the head and tail edges, open tear along the spine head edge, light chipping along the fore corners, mild age toning, and mild shelving wear. Boards have light foxing along most edges, mild bending along the fore corners, mild bending along the spine head and tail edges, and a stain and rubbing wear on the rear cover. Textblock has a pink stain on page 169, and light foxing along the edges. Contains a publisher's review copy card between the rear mylar and cover. Signed flat by Peter Matthiessen on the title page.
