Jackets with very light shelf wear to heads and tails; two instances of very minor marking to jacket of vol. 2. Light bumping to heads and tails of book spines; very slight discoloration to edges of boards. Top edge of vol. 2 text block moderately foxed; minor foxing to fore edge of same text block. Both volumes signed flat by Lessing on title page.
