Bound in publisher's light blue cloth, boards have a moderately worn pictorial paper on the front board, have moderate age-toning, moderate wear and fraying along the edges, stains on the rear board, moderate wear and bending along the fore corners, moderate wear along the joints, a tear along the front joint, moderate wear along the spine, moderate fraying along the spine head and tail edges, and severe age-toning along the spine. Textblock has mild soiling throughout, several illustrations throughout have been colored in, bending wear along the head fore corners or several pages, loose color plates between pages 72-73 and along the table of contents, pen inscriptions on the owner page dated June 4-1919, splitting along the hinges of the front and rear pastedowns, staining on the front pastedown, mild to moderate wear along the edges, and moderate age-toning throughout.
