Ibrahim bin Ismail served as Chief of Malaysian Defence Forces from 1970 until 1977. June A. Willenz served as Executive Director of the American Veterans Committee for 40 years. She later charged the World Veterans Federation to establish a Committee on Women, which she then went on to lead for 22 years.
