Venetiis [Venice]: Aldus [Paolo Manuzio], 1560. Octavo, 258, [34] leaves. Volume 2 only. In Good condition. Bound in full vellum with title handwritten in faded ink on spine. Vellum yellowed and marked, with significant damp staining to front board, moderate bumping and rubbing to corners and edges of boards, and moderate rubbing to head and tail of spine. Text block edges dappled blue. Text block lightly age toned with faded damp staining throughout and scattered minor insect damage, minimally impacting text and not impacting legibility. Pencil and pen notes to front paste down, ink ownership inscription marked through on front free endpaper, and ink markings to title page. Ink annotations scattered throughout text block, trimmed during a later rebinding. Edit16: CNCE 12355. EH Consignment.
