Bound in period full brown leather with gilt tooling and label bearing gilt titling to spine. Significant chipping to head and tail of spine; significant rubbing to binding, particularly at joints, edges, and corners. Front joint split (though board still securely attached); rear joint partially split. Worming to lower fore edge of front board and in the same spot throughout text block. Text block edges speckled red; text block age toned. Several full-page engraved illustrations bound in. TG Consignment.
