London: Printed for, J. Nichols, For J. Edwards. Pall-Mall &c. 1796-1799. First Edition. Quartos, Two Volumes. In Good minus condition. Bound in dark brown calf with gilt detailing and lettering on spines. Boards have cross hatching pattern pressed into leather and gilt border. Moderate wear to spine, moderate bumping and rubbing to head/tail of spine and corners, leather severely cracking and chipping away from boards and edges, all corners reinforced on both volumes and evidence of old repair to top edge of rear board on volume I, both volumes show very light worming, turn-ins with gilt design chipping significantly. Front gutting splitting in both volumes. Red speckled textblock edges, slight warping to textblocks, moderate soiling to exterior of textblocks, off setting from frontice piece on title pages, moderate off setting from plates in both volumes, light uneven foxing throughout, and discoloration to edges of front free end papers.
