Joints and corners reinforced with paper colored to match binding. Boards show minor rubbing and scuffing. Hinges reinforced. Text blocks age toned and foxed.

CONTENTS: Vol. 1 (xxiii, [1], 324 pages with 16 engraved plates, 13 of which are folding). Bookplate of Chalfront House on front paste down. – Vol. 2 (xx, 442, [10] pages with 17 folding plates).
