Spine rebound in contemporary leather with red label, gilt lettering, and gilt ruling to a banded spine. Boards have several surface marks and chipping to spine and corners. Text block somewhat rough with mild discoloration, extensive foxing and age toning throughout, previous owner's name in ink on first title page "Henry Morris", names in ink crossed out on second title page, "John Crawford" twice, once burned through, and another name illegible. Ex-library copy with usual markings, including a bookplate to front pastedown, institutional stamps to several pages and call number written in pencil. MF Consignment.
