Water-staining to upper edges and upper fore corners. Text block has some water-staining, primarily to upper edge and fore corners, occasional worming along lower gutter, mild impact to inner margins, m2 with tear along lower gutter, stemming from worming, a-m6 n3, a-g6, h5 [colophon presumed n4 or h6, but unknown]; a2 lower margin trimmed, no loss to text; archival work done to title page, with gutter entirely trimmed and reinforced, small line in middle of page backed, loss to text, upper fore corner; other small archival backing done to upper fore corner of a2, lower fore corners of a3-5, lower fore edge of h5 and colophon. Text in Latin. Colophon. 'excudebat Gaspar Trechsel Viennae MDXLI'; Included in rear is the "Index rerum memorabilium, Regionum, Gentium...". text with 4 large woodcut diagrams and 2 full-page woodcuts of a diagram and armillary sphere showing the projection of the 12 winds by Albrecht Dürer.
