Boards have moderate tears and fraying to spine head/tails, moderate bumping to fore corners, denting to edges, and discoloration throughout. Volume 1 has an open tear along the spine (impacting the gilt lettering), and liquid damage to the bottom end of boards, resulting in moderate fading and discoloration. Textblocks have moderate age toning, primarily to edges, foxing on some pages throughout, previous owner’s signature to the front free end pages, tears to edges, and minor soiling scattered on some pages throughout. Volume 1 has significant liquid damage to the interior boards, end papers, frontispiece, and bottom edge of the textblock, resulting in minor warping to pages and pink and tan staining to front and end matter. Volume 4 has pockets to the front and rear boards, each pocket contains two folders with numerous maps housed inside. Shelved in Room A.
