Both boards of Vol. I and the front board of Vol. II are detached due to splitting at the joints. In both volumes, boards show significant shelf and edge wear, with extensive visible scuffing to covers and rubbing on all edges with sections of exposed board. Fore corners are bumped; significant chipping to top corner of front board in Vol. I. Spines cracked with chipping and shallow loss of material to heads and tails. Text blocks show moderate shelf wear and scuffing on edges, with dust soiling to top edges. Lightly age toned and foxed throughout, with some sparse smudging.
