Small area of adhesive residue on glass. Letter is written in black ink by Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw, addressed to lecture circuit manager James B. Pond. In the letter, Shaw declines to embark on a North American lecture tour, making jabs at Pond's overtly commercial incentive in making the request for him to do so.
