In Very Good condition. Bound in full tree-calf with gilt borders to covers and gilt roll along board edges; elaborate gilt decoration to spine, with gilt titling on a black morocco label. Boards show light shelf wear, with a larger scuff on the back cover. Rubbing along board edges and at fore corners, with very small areas of exposed board. Small area of chipping to label on spine; joints are mildly cracked. Text block shows moderate toning and wear along edges, with dust soiling to top edge and faint smudges on bottom edge. Lightly age toned and foxed throughout. Ink ownership inscriptions on reverse of frontispiece ("Wm. Johnson, 1778") and on first title page ("Pho. Dunbarr / May 15 1704"). Shelved in Room A. More
