Gilt titling to front board, which is unevenly divided by gilt rules into four compartments. Ornament composed of beige, red, blue, and white inlay appears in bottom-right quadrant of the front board. Mild scraping to the gilt on boards and on all-gilt text block edges, and light rubbing to the front hinge. Volume bound too tight, with strain on the rear hinge causing cracking. With moiré silk end papers and patterned flyleaves. Stamp-signed on flyleaf by Samblanck-Weckesser. Original wraps bound in. Extremely scarce. Shelved in Case 3.
