Octavo; G/no-DJ; Off-white spine with black text; 7 volumes : 1 & 2 - Young Washington, 3 - Planter and Patriot, 4 - Leader of the Revolution, 5 - Victory with the Help of France, 6 - Patriot and President and 7 - First in Peace; Slipcases are slightly sunned with fraying edges and rubbed exteriors, slight browning along edges; Cloths are covered by custom wrap & mylar with 6 volumes having slipcases and the seventh is uncovered, exteriors have some white spotting on panels as well as moisture staining towards tail edges on vols. 6 & 7, otherwise they are undamaged and intact; Text blocks have darkened slightly on exterior edges with light foxing on edges of vol. 7, some staining on exterior head and fore edges of vols. 3 & 6, small sticker on pastedowns of vols. 1 & 7, and slight cracking between front end papers of vols. 2 & 4; pp 4177; shelved above case 13.
