VG-/ no DJ. kelly green clothbound HB, stamped with tiny gold characters, centered and separated each by single gilt bands, centered, but spine ends and inner border have double bands dividing title, full author and from the tail end portio of series and publisher. moderate handling but even edges and gently worn corners. very age-toned fep, with tipped in columns and pasted down cut-out on left fep. large rectangle of brown discoloration, with some light foxing. 21 illustration between pages 148-149, 10 maps, located to the rear, followed by notes. no writing or spotting to most of the textblock interior. light green shaded upper edge, fore-edge and tail edge clear, mid-volume stripe from illustration section obvious as a neat blk/gray stripe. 272 pp. ASIA (Soviet Central Republics).
