Good, solid binding, but the hinges are becoming slightly loose in some places. Age yellowing to ages and attached maps, but the text is clean and unmarked. Front and back end papers are lightly soiled. Rough-cut text block except the gilt upper edge. Illustrated throughout in colored and B&W maps and other illustrations and photographs.
