Boston: The Christopher Publishing House, 1927. First Edition. 10mo, 273 pages. In Very Good minus condition. Bound in the publisher's blue cloth bearing gilt lettering to the spine. Boards have moderate wear including sunning to the spine and edges, small pinkish beige stain to the front, and minor wear to the corners. Double blind-stamped borders to the front. Text block has mildly age toned edges, with slight offsetting to the end papers. Frontispiece. Sparse, slight smudges and marks to few pages interiorly. Illustrated. First edition. Inscribed by the author, "To Prof. Mildred S. Little, In grateful appreciation of many helpful suggestions given to me in the preparation of the volume. J.C. Mc Whorter, July 20, 1927"
