Carlton Seitz, with their stamp and bookplate on front pastedown. Very mild shelfwear. Frontispiece entirely reinforced; pages *2-8 with minor reinforcement, primarily to fore edge; pages E4-F2 with minor reinforcement to lower edge; rear blank VV8 with reinforcement to lower gutter. Illustrated with an engraved title page, 51 full-page woodcuts (46 in Orlando Furioso and 5 in Cinque Canti), ornamental head- and tail-pieces, and initial letters. The full-page woodcuts use the blocks from the first Valgrisi quarto edition of 1556. A significant number of impressions with weak points, either in whole or part. RS Consignment. Shelved in Case 0.
