Fr. Tom. IV. pp 1-320: [ending with the table of materials contained in the fourth volume]; "Histoire De France." T. II. pp 82, pp 646-692; following the text are 159 plates numbered consecutively 1-159, covering the XVII through XIX centuries and the reigns of Louis XVI through Louis Philippe. Text contents show moderate foxing; plates are generally very good; some with minor foxing; a few trimmed at top edge; a few with well-rendered hand color. A volume made to condense a portion of a greater set. Previous owner's annotation reads "Not in Colas or Hiler." [Spine; black title label gilt on green buckram cloth].
